Hi! I’m Eli a 19-year-old filmmaker, majoring in Film and Media Studies and Humanities at Yale University. I have been making films since I was 12 years old. I have made over 20 short films in a variety of genres, which have screened at many film festivals, including the San Francisco International Film Festival, The Seattle International Film Festival, the Woodstock Film Festival, and Cinequest. In 2023, my film, The Audition, was selected for the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at The Cannes Film Festival.
I am currently the “co-director” of the Yale Student Film Festival, and the videographer for the Yale Latin American Film Festival. I am a part of a Yale student-filmmaking community, and have produced and shot a variety of films for my fellow students.
I was also the First Assistant Director on a narrative feature: 40 Winks Dir. Will Parker, with Susan Sarandon and John Turturro; and First Assistant Director and Camera Operator on Atrabilious Dir. Will Parker, with Alec Baldwin and Whoopi Goldberg.
I have interned at production companies in development and production such as Ace Entertainment, Jezebel Productions, Sideshow Pictures, and was selected for the Career Development Program at the Gotham Film and Media Institute.
In addition, I have taught podcasting in NYC middle schools with Mesh ED, a education non-profit. My most recent podcast Pacific Climate Warrior features an in-depth interview with Sivendra Michael, a climate change activist from the island nation of Fiji. I am also a jazz guitarist who often composes the music for my films, and I have edited several music videos and non-profit fundraising videos.

Summer 2023
He Screened his film The Audition at the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the American Pavilion of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival!
He completed his development internship at Ace Entertainment, the production company behind the To All The Boys movies.
He did an internship with director Ramin Niami, where he helped him with his upcoming slate of films.
He completed the six week Gotham EDU Film and Media Career Development program.
He worked through Post Production on his new film “Into The Atmosphere.”
Spring 2023
Eli wrapped his new short film (more info to come).
His new short film The Audition will be screening at the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at The Cannes Film Festival.
The Audition also recently won an Honorable Mention at the Real Exposure Teen Film Festival.
It will screen at the Harlem International Film Festival during May.
He will also start a new position as a development intern this summer at Ace Entertainment in LA.
He worked as a PA on Kit Hung’s VR production.
He also won Best Cinematography for Hindsight, a film he was the Director of Photography, at The Yale Student Film Festival.
He wrapped In Search Of Levi Lee, a film he produced.
